Hi. I’m Dr. Daa’iyah

I’m a double board certified physician that has worked in emergency medicine and academic medicine for over a decade. I got my first taste of the American dream over a decade ago when I purchased my first single family home. After doing my research on homeownership, grants, and home buying incentives, then bringing only $500 to the closing table to purchase that home, I was hooked. I knew it was only a matter of time before I would buy my next property and put even more effort into researching financing strategies. It was a few years later when it was time for me to sell  but it wasn’t a sellers market. So instead of selling at a loss, I pivoted and turned the property into my first rental.

Just like you, I know how easy it is to let competing responsibilities get in the way of moving forward in your investing journey.

I also know the false comfort of the golden handcuffs of being a high income earner. I let those barriers delay my purchase of my second property. But after refocusing on my goals of wealth building and limiting my need to trade time for money through earned income, I got back on track. Since that time, Ive been researching and employing creative real estate investing. I’ve been building community and teaching others like you and I about all the great strategies that your realtor and lender often don’t tell you about.
